Dikamar®'s in-house laboratory allows for strict quality control and advanced testing, ensuring that all boots and safety footwear meet the highest international safety standards.
By combining multiple safety tests with specialized analyses, our laboratory verifies that each Dikamar® protective solution provides reliable protection, durability, and comfort in demanding work environments.
The boots are thoroughly tested, among other things, with the following tests:
- Anti-static Resistance Test: The anti-static resistance test evaluates the safety of footwear against electrostatic discharges.
- Martindale Abrasion Test: The Martindale abrasion test is a measure of the durability of a material against wear.
- Compression Test: Compression tests are developed to determine the behaviour of a material under applied pressure.
- Tensile and Tear Resistance Test: The tear resistance test measures the resistance of a material to tearing, and the tensile resistance test measures its ability to withstand stretching or pulling forces.
- Impact Test: Impact tests determine the hardness and resistance of a toe cap when it withstands an impact of 200 joules.
- Puncture Test: The puncture test measures the resistance of the protective sole in safety footwear. This test ensures protection against punctures, cuts, burns, and strong impacts.
- Flexibility Test: The flexibility test subjects the sole to a bending test to prove durability and resistance to foot flexion.
